Today on Meet the Authors I wish to introduce you to a fanfiction rarity - an author with a Y-chromosome! Many thanks to Howlcastle for taking the time to tell us why Doctor Who is his favorite show to write for, the virtues of one Charley Pollard, and why he is such a fanboy when it comes to Stephen Fry. And let me state for the record that I agree with him that wearing pyjamas all the time would be very cool indeed!

I've finished reading enough fanfic to put up another update! Today I have added some truly excellent fics to the Doctor Who and Torchwood domains. I am pleased to welcome Chase820, Howlcastle, Airavanya, Astrogirl, and Arethusa85 to the collection here at Lucent Dusk. I hope you enjoy their fics as much as I did.

Where have all the monsters gone? Once upon a time, the things that went bump in the night were truly terrifying. They possessed claws and teeth and magic, all the better to rip careless humans to shreds. The monsters of old were predators, unburdened by human emotions, free to delight in the chaos they created with nary a hint of guilt. These creatures of the night were out to get us, and in most cases, they suceeded.
