When submitting recommendations for this site, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Before submitting a fic recommendation to me, be sure that it falls under one of the accepted.  I will not read fanfics from shows I have not seen.  It would spoil the fun!

  • Any fic suggestions sent to me should be complete stories.  There is nothing more frustrating for me than getting into a good story only to discover it is incomplete, hasn't been updated in years, and most likely will never be finished!  I am willing to add some stories to the watch list, but if you are suggesting a story that is incomplete, please indicate that in the email.  No sense in getting my hopes up only to have them dashed later!

  • I don't mind a good lemon every now and again, but there are some things I simply won't read.  I'm not interested in slash, and I absolutely will not read any stories where rape and/or extreme sexual violence is used as a cheap plot device.  I'm also not particularly interested in yaoi or yuri, though I will give it consideration if I think it is appropriate for the show.  If your recommendation contains explicit material, please indicate that in the email or post.

  • Once I find a story I like, I then read everything that author has written for genres I am familiar with (and yes, I do mean everything).  When sending me a suggestion for a fic, please include links to lists of the author's other works.  If I enjoy the story, I will definitely check out their other stories. Thanks!
